Senior Data Engineer (Big Data)

What you will do

• Develop and operate modern data architectures and end-to-end data solutions.
• Build intricate data processing pipelines for complex client problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists to design scalable implementations of their models.
• Write clean, iterative code using TDD and continuous delivery practices.
• Use distributed storage and computing technologies to deploy, support, and operate data pipelines.
• Develop data models and contribute to data governance, security, privacy, and quality.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and big data processing.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building and operating data pipelines and maintaining data storage in distributed systems.
• Experience with data modeling, distributed storage and processing platforms, and production-scale data applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, data lakes, data schemas, and other database technologies.
• Experience with stakeholder management, technical communication, mentoring, and handling ambiguous or high-risk situations.

Nice to have

• Databricks experience.
• Experience with data visualization techniques.
