MSL (Material Science Lab) Intern Data Scientist (System Development and Web Integration) (Web Integration/Data Science): Building a web-based dashboard for laboratory operations and integrating it with a LIMS system through APIs or middleware with an accent on data integration, secure interfaces, and scalable design. Focus on developing lab workflow solutions, applying data preparation, image processing, machine learning, and AI techniques, and collaborating with engineers and data scientists.
Location: Onsite in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima), Thailand

What you will do
- Design and develop a web-based dashboard and interface for material science laboratory operations.
- Integrate the interface with the LIMS system using REST APIs or middleware.
- Collaborate with laboratory engineers and data scientists to understand workflows and requirements.
- Build secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions for lab operations.
- Document development processes, prepare end-user training materials, and communicate project progress.
- Summarize accomplishments, issues, and assignments for the supervisor.
Requirements
- Degree or master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, software, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, plus RESTful APIs and data integration.
- Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, Linux, computer networks, cloud technologies, and virtual machines.
- Programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and C++.
- Awareness of data privacy and security in laboratory environments.
- Fluent spoken and written English communication is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IoT, web development, or system integration.
- Experience with KNIME, image processing, MATLAB, vision systems, data networking, or coding.
- Experience in data preparation, image classification, data center management, machine learning, or AI projects.
