What you will do

• Define and implement comprehensive risk strategies to mitigate fraud, specifically focusing on ATO, credit card fraud, and emerging scams.
• Monitor and report on critical risk KPIs to maximize platform protection and minimize financial loss.
• Collaborate with Compliance teams to optimize transaction screening and monitoring, reducing rule complexity.
• Lead and manage the risk strategy team, implementing organizational changes to support business growth.
• Leverage advanced technologies, including AI and LLMs, to automate and enhance risk detection workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in risk management or fraud prevention within fintech, financial services, or the crypto industry.
• Proven track record of executing risk strategies that deliver measurable operational improvements and savings.
• Deep knowledge of fraud detection techniques and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams and complex projects.
• Must be based in Asia.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision making and familiarity with AI/ML applications in risk.
