Simulator Pilot Instructor C-130J

What you will do

• Deliver C-130J pilot initial qualification, secondary upgrade, and currency training.
• Prepare, deliver, assess, maintain, and evaluate training and assessment materials.
• Provide instruction in classroom and simulator environments.
• Support training administration and provide C-130J subject matter expertise.
• Contribute to aviation safety management and internal hirify.global business initiatives.
• Liaise with the C-130J Lead Instructor, Key Account Manager, hirify.global instructional staff, and 37SQN personnel.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship and an Australian Defence Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Qualifications and experience sufficient to be authorised as a competent Simulator Pilot Instructor by the Commanding Officer of RAAF Central Flying School.
• A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or recognised equivalent experience.
• At least two years of Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment, or at least 1,000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew tactical transport aircraft such as the C-27J or C-130J.
• Completion, or ability to complete, the ground training segments of the C-130J Pilot Conversion Course.

Nice to have

• Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience on the C-130J.
• A Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor rating, or civil equivalent, with at least 200 hours of airborne instruction and training experience.
• Previous flight simulator instructor experience.
