What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the development of next-generation mask inspection platforms across mechanical, electrical, and software functions.
• Calibrate, characterize, and verify electron beam system performance to meet technical specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve complex tool issues, identifying root causes and driving them to resolution.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support within customer cleanrooms.
• Analyze system performance data, identify trends, and present recommendations to engineering stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global teams across different time zones to onboard and develop new engineers.

Requirements

• Academic degree with experience: PhD (0 years), Master's (3 years), or Bachelor's (5 years) in a related field.
• Strong technical background in optics, physics, or a related discipline.
• Location: Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally or domestically.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of charged particle dynamics theory.
• Experience with electron gun or High Voltage (HV) design.
• Knowledge of basic image processing or computer vision.
• Experience with semiconductor inspection, metrology, or precision optical/electronic systems.
• Proficiency in sensor characterization and signal/data analysis.
