TL;DR

Change & Release Analyst (Fintech): Coordinating risk-based change and release activity across the enterprise technology estate with an accent on production stability and safe delivery. Focus on embedding governance into CI/CD pipelines, managing release schedules, and ensuring operational readiness for production deployments.

Location: Bristol (Harbourside). Hybrid working (3 days per week in office); must be based in the UK as employment sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

  • Coordinate end-to-end change and release activity, managing risk assessments, approvals, and implementation controls.
  • Maintain a forward schedule of change and release to provide visibility of impacts and dependencies.
  • Act as a control point for production releases to ensure operational readiness and successful validation.
  • Embed governance into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated compliance and auditability.
  • Provide guidance to engineering and platform teams on change standards and risk mitigation.
  • Support the resolution of failed changes and drive continuous improvement in release quality.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) with strong knowledge of ITIL Change and Release Management.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and automated release practices.
  • Experience working across hybrid environments including cloud and third-party platforms.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset to balance delivery pace, risk, and service stability.
  • Unable to provide employment sponsorship.
