Technical Implementation Manager (Embedded Finance)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid with 3 days in the office

Salary: £85,000–£120,000 per year, plus potential equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex partner integrations from scoping and solution design through onboarding, testing, certification, pilot, launch, and early optimisation.
• Translate business requirements and solution proposals into delivery plans, operating rhythms, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Manage risks, dependencies, communications, governance, KPIs, status reporting, and day-to-day coordination across multiple workstreams.
• Lead collaboration between sales, solution engineering, product, engineering, operations, legal, compliance, privacy, risk, finance, and support teams.
• Prioritise integration requirements with product and engineering teams while balancing roadmap constraints and client commitments.
• Track time-to-go-live, delivery adherence, and launch quality, then lead post-launch reviews to improve integration playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of product delivery management or project management experience with complex technology or financial services implementations.
• 5+ years of professional services or client-facing delivery experience in consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
• Experience with global payment products or technology-led business solutions and translating product capabilities into partner integration plans.
• Proven ability to deliver cross-functional projects involving C-level executives, technical teams, and operations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including steering meetings, status reporting, and influencing without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, payments, card schemes, payment gateways, global acquiring, or embedded finance.
• Experience working with integration engineers, solution architects, or technical program managers on API-based integrations.
• Project management or agile certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
• Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts within a broader account team.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
