What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Vendor Management Specialists while remaining hands-on with daily execution.
- Own the global vendor ecosystem, including OEMs, distributors, and resellers, to support competitive pricing and reliable fulfillment.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, credit, and rebates to maximize commercial value.
- Establish and enforce standards, SLAs, and playbooks for vendor onboarding, program execution, and issue resolution.
- Manage vendor KPIs and performance data to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for supply constraints, pricing discrepancies, and fulfillment challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in vendor/partner management, IT procurement, or supply chain.
- Proven track record of supervising or leading a team.
- Direct experience working with OEM and distribution channels (e.g., Apple, Dell, Lenovo, TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro).
- Strong knowledge of channel programs (Deal Registration, Apple VPP/DPP, warranties, rebates).
- Demonstrated ability to build and standardize processes in a fast-changing, high-growth environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
