hirify.global is a startup developing scalable power electronics hardware, including inverters and rectifiers, for renewable energy, storage, loads, and grid electrification.

What you will do

  • Support the development and sourcing of advanced medium-voltage power conversion systems.
  • Prepare and analyze RFI, RFP, and RFQ documents for vendor selection.
  • Translate product requirements into clear operational needs for suppliers in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Build should-cost models and perform cost optimization analyses.
  • Support vendor negotiations and supplier quality management activities.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in supply chain management, industrial engineering, engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of supplier selection and management best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with purchasing processes, manufacturing methods, ERP systems, and supplier quality management tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

  • Internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or procurement related to electrical and power conversion systems.
  • Interest in renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, datacenter power architectures, or industrial electrification.
  • Undergraduate coursework in mechanical or electrical engineering.
