Director Central Technology and Security, Safety & Fraud (SSF) Risk Operations

What you will do

• Lead and develop a 50-person risk operations team across Amsterdam, Manchester, Bucharest, and Bangalore.
• Own risk management for Central Technology, including core platforms, IT services, and data and machine learning platforms.
• Lead risk management across cybersecurity, physical security, fraud, trust and safety, and AI/GenAI security.
• Own SSF governance, risk, and compliance activities, including policies, standards, guidelines, and the enterprise risk register.
• Maintain and evolve cybersecurity, fraud, trust and safety, and physical security frameworks and risk registers.
• Report risk posture to leadership, partner with technology and business security stakeholders, and develop remediation plans.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or fraud, including significant leadership experience.
• Experience leading risk management programs, organizational change, and executive or board-level communication.
• Experience with cloud-based security frameworks and embedding security practices into engineering ways of working.
• Familiarity with NIST, ERM, GDPR, ISO 27001, NYDFS, or similar risk frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical risks for non-technical audiences, connect disparate risks, and manage conflicting priorities.
• Experience working in matrix or federated organizations; CISM, CISSP, COSO ERM, or similar certification is preferred.
