Staff Platform Engineer (Go)

Location: Remote (US only). Must be authorized to work in the United States. Not hiring in AK, DE, HI, ID, IA, MT, NE, ND, RI, SD, WV.

What you will do

• Design and build tools to extend the infrastructure platform.
• Guide application development teams on cloud infrastructure patterns.
• Develop Kubernetes controllers and operators to manage cloud resources.
• Collaborate with internal customers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or software development.
• 4+ years of experience leading technical projects.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) for building infrastructure APIs.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes patterns, controllers, and operators.
• Deep understanding of GCP, Linux, and distributed systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience building applications on Temporal.
• Working knowledge of Datadog for observability and tuning.
