Platform Engineering Manager (Web3)

Location: Worldwide, fully remote

Salary: 350,000–500,000 RUB net per month

Dats.Team is hiring for a platform engineering leadership role focused on building scalable product infrastructure.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional platform squad covering Platform, Security, Backend, and TestOps.
• Define and execute the Internal Developer Platform strategy so product squads can build, test, and deploy autonomously.
• Oversee the AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Cloudflare technology stack.
• Integrate security and TestOps into the software development lifecycle through a DevSecOps and quality-first approach.
• Make technical decisions on scalable infrastructure, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost optimization.
• Establish SRE metrics and processes, including SLOs, SLIs, incident response, roadmaps, and platform health reporting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Backend Engineering, including 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong architectural and hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Cloudflare.
• Experience leading Infrastructure, Security, Backend, and Quality/TestOps professionals.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, giving feedback, and handling difficult conversations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for infrastructure and platform delivery.
• Native or advanced English is required. Spanish is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience managing blockchain and Web3 infrastructure, including nodes, RPC endpoints, or wallet security.
• FinTech experience with high-frequency trading platforms, ledgers, or payment gateways.
• FinOps, cloud compliance, AML, or regulatory experience.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS.
