What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers while ensuring performance and security.
• Administer cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP with infrastructure-as-code via Terraform.
• Manage virtualization platforms and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement security policies, manage access controls, and perform vulnerability remediation per NSA guidelines.
• Automate system tasks and provisioning using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Coordinate vendor activities, capacity planning, and hardware lifecycle management in the data center.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
• Experience with hybrid on-prem/cloud system administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
• Availability for 24/7 operational demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Security+, CCNA, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of ITIL and enterprise monitoring tools.
