What you will do

• Serve as lead counsel for international commercial transactions outside the Americas, focusing on EMEA and APAC.
• Draft, review, and negotiate subscription agreements, order forms, and partner/channel deals.
• Manage a high-velocity deal pipeline while partnering with Sales, Deal Operations, and Finance.
• Adapt US contracting standards and playbooks for international markets to ensure global consistency.
• Navigate cross-border legal issues including data transfer mechanisms and multi-entity deal structures.
• Coordinate with external counsel in EMEA and APAC jurisdictions for local law advice.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales (or equivalent UK legal qualification).
• 7-10 years of legal experience, with significant in-house experience at a technology company.
• Substantial experience in B2B enterprise and mid-market SaaS commercial transactions.
• Direct experience negotiating partner, channel, and alliance agreements.
• Experience working within a US-headquartered company's legal framework and contracting conventions.
• Ability to work independently across EMEA and APAC time zones while maintaining alignment with a US-based team.

Nice to have

• Prior in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS, developer tools, or API-focused company.
• Familiarity with AI-related commercial terms and AI governance provisions.
• Experience with CLM platforms like Ironclad.
• Proficiency with AI tools applied to legal workflows.
