Location: Remote (any US location outside of California) or hybrid from New Orleans or Portland
Salary: $145,000 – $160,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Lead and mentor engineers, overseeing their technical output, career development, and daily priorities.
- Act as a technical voice to support the team in making diligent architectural and scoping decisions.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and customer success to deliver against the product roadmap.
- Own end-to-end execution, from planning and prioritization to delivery, removing ambiguity and blockers.
- Manage support escalations and triage production issues in coordination with customer success.
- Drive a culture of engineering excellence by owning quality gates, testing results, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience leading engineering teams within SaaS software companies.
- Demonstrated track record of developing talent and retaining high performers.
- Working knowledge of Elixir, React, React Native, or AWS.
- Hands-on experience leading Agile or Kanban/Lean sprint teams with measurable delivery improvements.
- Experience managing projects in ambiguous, high-growth startup environments.
- Must be based in the US (excluding California).
