What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of backend, frontend, and applied AI engineers.
  • Own the technical vision for core support tools, including custom solutions and SaaS integrations.
  • Drive the roadmap for AI-powered support agents and agent efficiency tools.
  • Perform code and architecture reviews while maintaining high operational standards.
  • Collaborate with product and design leadership to align team goals with business objectives.
  • Participate in recruiting and team growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer with a focus on coding.
  • 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading productive teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping high-stakes customer experience software.
  • Ability to define architecture and roadmaps in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience building end-to-end customer support software in a marketplace environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI agent optimization and support workflows.
