What you will do

• Design and maintain resilient, secure, and highly available GCP infrastructure for all SaaS and Hosted services to meet established SLAs.
• Manage scalable GCP network architecture, including VPC design, peering, Cloud Interconnect/VPN, and firewall rules.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and incident response using modern CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Scale infrastructure using GCP autoscaling and load balancing while applying cost-optimization best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to implement containerized, Kubernetes-native deployment patterns for new features.
• Develop operational runbooks and procedures, leveraging AI and LLM tools to accelerate automation and diagnostics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in 24x7 production operations supporting high-availability SaaS or cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with GCP, specifically GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, and IAM.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TLS, load balancing, and multi-region network design.
• Experience with Docker, container security best practices, and image management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and GitOps workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java applications and the J2EE technology stack.
• Proficiency in using AI/LLM tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for daily productivity and troubleshooting.
