What you will do

• Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning and administrative tasks using Terraform and serverless Lambda functions (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM roles).
• Develop and maintain Helm charts and declarative configurations to standardize EKS-based deployments.
• Build reusable CI/CD templates in GitLab CI and/or Jenkins for adoption across 5+ application development workstreams.
• Script automation in Python, Bash, or Go to replace repetitive manual steps.
• Implement monitoring instrumentation and dashboards (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and assist with alerts and chat-based notifications.
• Participate in on-call and production triage rotations to support Tier 2/3 incident response.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).
• Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Hands-on AWS experience including EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code provisioning and drift prevention.
• Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and/or Jenkins.
• Strong containerization and orchestration knowledge using Docker and AWS ECS/EKS/Fargate, plus Helm and Kubernetes (EKS) deployment experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in federal environments and familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or ATO processes.
• Experience supporting SAFe or scaled Agile delivery teams as a platform/infrastructure provider.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration platforms.
• Experience building automated continuous deployment workflows using Git.
• Knowledge of AWS networking (subnets, routing tables) and demonstrated deployment-time or cost reductions from automation.
