Location: Must be based in Washington, DC (In-Person, 5 days/week)

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Support and automate CI/CD pipelines for development workflows.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to meet federal compliance standards like FedRAMP and NIST.
• Monitor system performance and ensure cloud services meet SLAs.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge sharing for the engineering team.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for federal contract and security clearance eligibility.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level security clearance.
• 4+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 2+ years specifically with GCP.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, VPC, IAM).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and containerization.

Nice to have

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience with federal government contracts and ATO processes.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
