What you will do

• Perform risk analysis and deep dives into global multi-asset portfolios to assess market and liquidity risks.
• Master and implement risk-based margin methodologies and intraday risk management processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Credit, Compliance, and Technology teams to enhance risk management platforms and margin offerings.
• Validate and support daily risk management reports and margin calls.
• Represent the firm on sales calls to explain margin methodologies to prospective and existing clients.
• Supervise, train, and provide knowledge transfer to desk analysts and associates.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, NY
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; a degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.
• Required knowledge of listed derivatives, with experience in options strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Central Counterparties (CCPs) and their margin methodologies.
• Ability to analyze the impact of macro trends and market events on client portfolios.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Previous trading or risk management experience at a Market-Maker or Proprietary trading firm.
• Functional knowledge of SQL or at least one programming language.
