What you will do

• Own day-to-day clearing, settlement, margin, and position reconciliation for CDE, including incident management.
• Lead relationships with external clearinghouses, clearing members, FCM counterparties, and regulators.
• Drive the development of clearing procedures, controls, and risk frameworks to meet CFTC regulatory standards.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure clearing infrastructure supports new product launches.
• Build and scale a high-performing clearing operations team, establishing KPIs, SLAs, and workflows.
• Act as the subject matter expert for regulatory filings, DCO/FCM governance requirements, and audits.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in clearing operations at a CFTC-regulated exchange, clearinghouse, or FCM.
• Deep expertise in the full trade lifecycle for CFTC-regulated derivatives (futures, options, and prediction markets).
• Proven experience managing relationships with utilities such as CME Clearing, ICE Clear U.S., or OCC.
• Track record of leading teams responsible for operationally critical functions and scalable risk frameworks.
• Strong working knowledge of CFTC regulations and DCO rulebook requirements.
• Must be based in the USA or Latin America.
