What you will do

• Lead multiple teams to align engineering execution with company-wide strategic goals and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product leadership to identify dependencies and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
• Provide technical direction for scalable, secure, and optimized architectural decisions.
• Drive process improvements and integrate innovative DevOps and security best practices.
• Manage technical risks, including the implementation of backup, failover, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate the proactive resolution of high-priority technical issues to minimize business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience scaling distributed systems and cloud-based platforms.
• Proficiency with AWS (S3, SNS, SES, API Gateway), Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Experience working with Python, Ruby, Node, PHP, and .Net.
• Expertise with databases (Postgres, DynamoDB, MySQL) and queue mechanisms (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka).
• Must be based in the US or within normal commuting distance to NYC subject to hybrid work policy.
