What you will do

• Develop, review, and update electrical schematics and engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Create and revise detail and assembly drawings based on conceptual layouts and sketches.
• Prepare lists of materials and documentation in accordance with drafting standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate verbal and written directions into technical designs.
• Research project requirements and apply knowledge of current drafting and design technology.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to government contract and clearance requirements.
• Associates degree in design/drafting technology or related electrical field with 2+ years of experience, or a Bachelors degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Proficiency with engineering software including SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, PLC systems, low voltage distribution, or telecommunications.
