What you will do

• Design and implement controller architectures for power converters.
• Develop dynamic models and capture designs in Matlab/Simulink.
• Translate algorithms from Simulink into embedded C code.
• Perform small-signal modeling to tune and stabilize controller responses.
• Create and utilize hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) setups for validation.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on prototype bring-up and stress-test execution.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with power conversion topologies and control systems.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot C-code.
• Hands-on circuit troubleshooting experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with grid-tied inverter systems and modular architectures.
• Familiarity with grid-code requirements like IEEE1547 or UL1741.
• Experience in high-volume production support.
• Knowledge of PV conversion systems and MPPT.
