Operations Manager (Property Management)

Location: Remote in LATAM: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, or Costa Rica. Working hours: U.S. business hours (EST). The role supports residential property markets in Miami and Orlando, Florida.

hirify.global is recruiting for a client operating a residential property management business serving rental owners and tenants in the Miami and Orlando markets.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations across a residential property portfolio and manage, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams covering leasing, operations, maintenance coordination, and business development.
• Oversee leasing, vacancy management, occupancy performance, rental pricing, and lease renewals.
• Coordinate unit turns, vendors, maintenance teams, inspections, work orders, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage owner and client relationships, property onboarding, tenant communication, and retention.
• Oversee rent collections, delinquency reporting, notices, eviction processes, and operating expenses.
• Develop scalable workflows and SOPs, implement KPIs and reporting, and improve efficiency through automation and technology.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of residential property management experience and at least 2 years of leadership or operations management experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional property management teams and remote teams.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, vacancy management, unit turns, maintenance coordination, rent collections, renewals, evictions, and residential property operations.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Spanish communication required.
• Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, project management, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties, competing priorities, and operational and financial performance.

Nice to have

• Experience managing operations across multiple geographic markets or both residential and commercial properties.
• Experience implementing KPIs and operational reporting.
• Experience with Buildium, QuickBooks, Monday.com, Google Workspace, property management software, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience using automation and technology to improve operations.
