What you will do

• Pitch, produce, and post social media content including vertical videos and graphics.
• Adapt news articles and video shows into platform-native social stories.
• Create reactionary content for breaking news, earnings reports, and market events.
• Utilize AI-driven tools to optimize video scripts, brainstorm hooks, and draft copy.
• Storyboard and direct on-camera talent for social-first content.
• Analyze performance metrics to refine content strategy and engagement.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 2+ years of experience in social media content creation for journalism or media.
• Proficiency in video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut) and graphic design (Photoshop, Canva).
• Strong news judgment and ability to simplify complex financial topics.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools to accelerate creative workflows.
• Ability to work a Wednesday–Sunday schedule.

Nice to have

• 3-5 years of experience creating social content for a brand.
• Proven track record of growing social media accounts.
