What you will do

• Set the news agenda for distressed debt, restructurings, and bankruptcy cases.
• Deliver and edit proprietary news, trend stories, and enterprise content.
• Review sourcing, attribution, and legal compliance for all published content.
• Manage and mentor a team of reporters to support their professional growth.
• Collaborate with credit and legal analysts on high-value analytical pieces.
• Work with engineering and business teams to improve publishing processes and product features.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of distressed debt investing, corporate restructuring, and bankruptcy.
• Proven experience as a financial journalist with editing and management skills.
• Solid news judgment and ability to prioritize coverage effectively.
• Good understanding of Media Law.
• Excellent networking, relationship building, and communication skills.
• Must be based in New York or able to work in a hybrid model.
