Salary: $200,000 – $220,000 USD annual

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications and distributed systems on AWS.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams, driving architecture and best practices.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to deliver high-performing solutions.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching.
• Drive modernization initiatives and cloud adoption across the engineering organization.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant cloud-native development on AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, containerization (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes), microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ), and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, cloud security, and application performance.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives while remaining hands-on with design and development.

Nice to have

• AWS Professional Certification(s).
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience leading cloud modernization and enterprise platform initiatives.
