What you will do

• Design and maintain large-scale data ingestion, storage, and querying systems for AI/ML experiment tracking and analytics.
• Architect and optimize distributed systems and backend services to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency for petabyte-scale datasets.
• Implement and enhance customer-facing APIs using Go, Python, and TypeScript.
• Build and operate services on Kubernetes-based infrastructure using Terraform across GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues related to data pipelines and storage/query performance.
• Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining and deploying Go and Python code in live software systems.
• 5+ years of experience with MySQL, Postgres, and deploying distributed systems on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in building and maintaining systems using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience developing new features and APIs using REST or gRPC.
• Experience maintaining systems using Kafka or Pub/Sub.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
