Plasma Etch Process Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Sustain and improve plasma etch processes to meet safety, quality, cycle time, cost, and yield objectives.
• Develop and qualify process recipes and lead process characterization activities.
• Analyze process and equipment data, execute experiments, and investigate root causes of technical issues.
• Implement corrective actions and manage process changes through established change control and qualification procedures.
• Partner with equipment engineering, manufacturing, metrology, yield enhancement, and integration teams to support production and product reliability.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers and contribute to factory-wide continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience with plasma etch process engineering in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex technical problems.
• Experience with process and equipment data analysis, root cause investigations, experiments, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of process qualification and formal change control procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing and engineering teams.
