What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable full-stack solutions for subscription and membership systems.
• Own core systems including billing, lifecycle state management, and workflow orchestration.
• Partner with commerce, clinical, and pharmacy teams to drive cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Provide mentorship on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Drive strategic technical decisions to improve security, scalability, and performance.
• Implement monitoring and analytics to measure the impact of engineering solutions on customer KPIs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Staff or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies including Java, Kotlin, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal and monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Must be based in the US to be eligible for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with experimentation frameworks like Growthbook or Optimizely.
• Background in building platform infrastructure for patient-facing applications.
