Location: Taipei City (Hybrid). Requires approximately 10% travel to vendor sites in Taiwan and bring-up activities in California.
Salary: $5,200,000–$6,000,000 TWD

What you will do
- Lead the productization of advanced ASICs and domain-specific architectures from bring-up through high-volume production.
- Define system-level test content, hardware strategies, and screening criteria to ensure silicon reliability.
- Drive root-cause analysis for field returns and RMAs by correlating system telemetry and manufacturing data.
- Execute hands-on silicon debug using lab equipment, schematics, and firmware traces to establish operating limits.
- Develop statistical analysis and data mining workflows to identify yield limiters and improve product health.
- Collaborate with architecture, validation, and supplier teams to correlate lab and manufacturing data.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in silicon product engineering, bring-up, characterization, or yield debug.
- Hands-on experience bringing up complex semiconductor products from engineering samples to production.
- Proficiency in data analysis and automation using Python, SQL, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to interpret schematics, silicon specifications, and system-level logs.
- Experience with system-level test, platform validation, or workload-based stress testing.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML accelerators, TPUs, GPUs, or automotive-grade silicon.
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, or MIPI.
- Experience debugging interactions across the full stack including OS kernel, drivers, and firmware.
- Background in applying machine learning or advanced analytics to automate silicon characterization.
