What you will do

• Monitor and maintain server environments to ensure the availability and reliability of critical federal systems.
• Collaborate with systems administrators to troubleshoot server issues and document all changes and maintenance activities.
• Perform physical and virtual server reboots using VMware vSphere and manual diagnostic techniques.
• Manage problem outages and escalate complex issues to Enterprise Level 2 Operations Engineers.
• Escort and monitor un-cleared workers on-site to maintain strict security protocols.
• Assist with data center equipment movement, device installation, and cable management.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Degree in IT or 1-3 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, data centers, or help desk support.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools or ticketing systems, specifically ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work the required day shift schedule (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a collaborative environment.
