Salary: CA$60,000 – CA$70,000

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2 support for live streaming events and triage escalations in real-time.
• Perform testing with feed partners and coordinate with Logistics and Production for flo-produced events.
• Collaborate with Stream Operations to improve day-to-day operational processes.
• Document initial root causes for technical failures and participate in Root Cause Analysis.
• Install and test encoders on-site, requiring occasional travel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Live Event Support.
• 1+ years of experience in Remote Production.
• Knowledge of streaming protocols (RTMP, SRT, RTP, WebRTC, Zixi) and CDNs (Fastly, Cloudflare, Akamai, Cloudfront).
• Familiarity with encoding software (vMix, OBS, Tricaster) and hardware (TVU, Videon, Haivision).
• Basic understanding of AWS services, including MediaLive, MediaTailor, MediaStore, S3, and EC2.
• Fundamental networking knowledge and understanding of analog and digital signal flows.

Nice to have

• A+ or Network+ certifications.
• AWS Solution Architect Associate (SAA) certification.
• Hands-on experience with TVU or Videon.
• Experience in on-site live production as a producer, director, or technical director.
