What you will do

• Support strategic customer conversations and align Okta’s solutions with business outcomes for technical and engineering leaders.
• Lead deep technical Q&A discovery sessions to uncover requirements and communicate the value of CIAM solutions.
• Deliver interactive presentations, custom product demonstrations, and whiteboard solution architectures.
• Design and execute outcome-focused POCs while maintaining deep technical expertise in identity protocols.
• Provide strategic and technical guidance to Solutions Engineering teams across Okta and Auth0 platforms.
• Collaborate with the Global Office of Field CTO to provide market insights and influence product roadmaps.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in presales or customer-facing roles, including 3+ years with CIAM projects.
• 8+ years of development experience, preferably focused on application integration with identity services.
• 8+ years of experience working with REST APIs and SDKs.
• Proficiency with authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Ability to travel up to 40% for customer meetings, industry events, and internal off-sites.

• Full-stack web application development experience (frontend and backend).
• Mobile (iOS, Android) development experience.
• Experience architecting scalable CIAM solutions leveraging API-first approaches.
• Expertise in AI-driven customer experience integration with Auth0, including AI agents and MCP servers.
