What you will do

• Own the technical design for secure, scalable, and high-performance APIs and services on AWS.
• Implement robust security measures, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Optimize backend services for maximum speed and low latency while resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in API design, microservices, and testing.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated software delivery.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into secure technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining distributed systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB).
• Deep understanding of API security principles (OWASP Top 10) and containerization with Docker.
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on expertise with React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Working experience with .Net or Python.
• Experience with GCP and BigQuery.
