What you will do

• Serve as the strategic and operational partner to the Head of Marketing to drive leadership effectiveness and organizational planning.
• Ensure Marketing alignment with Mojang's operating model, including GTM reviews, business reviews, and planning cycles.
• Lead operating rhythms, management systems, and annual planning processes to ensure clear actions and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee budget management, forecasting, and spend governance, optimizing processes for procurement and purchase orders.
• Advise on organizational effectiveness, talent planning, onboarding, and long-term team health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations, or strategy.
• Proven experience partnering with leadership teams to drive operational excellence.
• Expertise in leading Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes and organizational operating models.
• Experience managing budgets in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Must be located in Redmond, Washington

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer technology.
• Previous experience as a Chief of Staff or Business Manager.
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
• Experience leading organizational change and workforce planning.
