What you will do

• Perform diverse tests and analyses to keep production processes within specification.
• Document all analysis results in laboratory notebooks and maintain online records.
• Calibrate, clean, organize, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure a safe lab environment by following safety protocols and handling hazardous materials.
• Execute analyses using atomic absorption spectroscopy, microhardness testers, and precision measuring equipment.
• Assist in the cross-training of team members and participate in Continuous Improvement Processes.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience or education in chemistry or laboratory environments.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Christiansburg, VA.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply instructions in English.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
