Lab Specialist (Chemistry)

Salary: $18.05–$22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses to keep processes within specification.
• Document analyses in laboratory notebooks and online records, and accurately interpret analytical results.
• Calibrate, clean, organize, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Conduct analyses using atomic absorption spectroscopy, wet chemical apparatus, balances, microscopes, microhardness testers, Hull cell tests, and precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain a safe laboratory environment while handling hazardous materials and following safety procedures.
• Support training and cross-training, participate in continuous improvement, and work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant experience, education, or a combination of both, with exposure to chemistry or laboratory environments.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions in English.
• Attention to detail and precision in recording and analyzing data.
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required for this position.
