What you will do

• Perform chemical, electronic, mechanical, and physical laboratory tests and material or finished-product analyses.
• Conduct destructive physical analysis, corrosion assessments, and equipment calibrations using established procedures.
• Configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and test equipment.
• Build, modify, and troubleshoot laboratory test fixtures and prototype assemblies.
• Collect, analyze, and report test results, identifying inconsistencies and communicating findings to production and quality control.
• Maintain laboratory logs, electronic records, inspection reports, and databases.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of laboratory operations and product testing.
• Ability to execute laboratory procedures with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency using laboratory equipment.
• Strong documentation and technical recording skills.
• Ability to work at the Shelby, North Carolina location.
• The position may involve exposure to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
