Salary: $145,000–$178,000 (US), £77,499–£93,815 (UK)

What you will do

• Drive the CRRD Data Roadmap and translate leadership decision-making needs into technical data product requirements.
• Champion the adoption of primary systems of record (Integra, OTIS, Salesforce) to eliminate parallel trackers.
• Implement practical AI and automation opportunities, including LLM-assisted data processing and agent-based reporting.
• Lead and manage the Program Data Systems team, comprising developers, a product manager, and a QA analyst.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and AMU to integrate program data into the IRC Data Lakehouse.
• Design support models and documentation to build regional and country team capacity for independent data use.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data systems, governance, or analytics roles.
• Technical fluency in cloud lakehouse platforms (Databricks preferred), Python, SQL, dbt, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Proven track record of executing multi-year data strategies and modernizing legacy systems.
• Practical experience applying AI and LLMs to data workflows and reporting.
• Fluency in English required.
• Right to work in the United States, United Kingdom, or Kenya.

Nice to have

• Experience with operational data in multi-country humanitarian or international development contexts.
• Understanding of financial data integration and enterprise metadata management.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR.
• Proficiency in Arabic, French, or Spanish.
