Investment Banking Associate (Industrials)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite at the New York office.

Salary: USD 150,000–225,000 base salary per year, with potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and analyze financial models and perform customized company valuation analyses.
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions, fixed income issuances, equity issuances, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare client presentations covering industry trends, client situations, financial advice, and recommended strategies.
• Help manage transaction processes and structure advisory and financing transactions.
• Coordinate tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers across transaction teams.
• Lead due diligence processes, participate in legal documentation negotiations, and maintain client communication.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of investment banking or equivalent experience.
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong team orientation and the ability to work effectively with team members across multiple groups and regions.

Nice to have

• Previous Industrials sector experience, including aerospace and defense, automotive, building and construction, business services, capital goods, diversified industrials, transportation and infrastructure, or paper, forest products and packaging.
