What you will do

• Architect and design complex embedded runtime software test harnessing solutions.
• Develop and implement Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) product qualification tests and support test integration.
• Improve operational features and functionality of in-house test frameworks.
• Support CI pipelines and troubleshoot complex hardware and software system integration issues.
• Develop and maintain test asset software tools and infrastructure.
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with a Master's/PhD).
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Bazel, and Protobuf.
• Experience with Linux OS and developing test frameworks for embedded or HIL systems.
• Ability to write concise and detailed engineering documentation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking and embedded network switches (TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs).
• Experience with Python tooling, including linters, formatters, and packaging.
• Experience with microcontrollers and interfaces such as CAN, I2C, and UART.
• Experience with x86 PC architecture and high-speed PCIe interfaces.
