What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and qualification of the rocket's on-board fluid systems and associated hardware.
  • Define and execute the fluid systems technology roadmap, design methodologies, and engineering toolchain.
  • Oversee system, stage acceptance, and qualification test campaigns, including anomaly resolution.
  • Mentor and grow the Fluid Systems team through recruitment, performance management, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to ensure successful hardware realization and system integration.
  • Manage team priorities, resources, schedules, and budgets in alignment with program milestones.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in rocket propulsion or fluid system development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cryogenic propulsion systems and proven involvement in practical development.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
