What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of data and AI solution architects, promoting a hands-on, build-oriented culture.
• Identify, document, and promote reusable architectural patterns, standards, and best practices across data design.
• Guide the design of scalable, secure end-to-end solutions, from data pipelines to semantic models.
• Partner with engineering teams during implementation, participating in prototyping, design validation, and code reviews.
• Lead the design of data models and pipelines to ensure quality, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into practical, actionable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience designing and delivering data solutions, including ETL/ELT pipelines (batch or streaming).
• Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, and semantic).
• Solid understanding of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, or influencing technical teams.
• Must be based in Canada and work onsite according to corporate policy.

• Interest or experience in AI/ML and AI-enabled data use cases.
• Exposure to broader solution architecture beyond the data domain.
