What you will do

• Own the development of the organizational ontology to serve as the primary consumption point for all workflow projects.
• Manage and prioritize the ontology backlog, evaluating change requests for their impact on the long-term roadmap.
• Partner with Use Case Leads and Data Source Developers to plan and execute the ingestion of new data sources into Foundry.
• Lead architecture discussions for new use cases to ensure alignment with existing ontology and programme strategy.
• Collaborate with Data Governance and Compliance teams to implement secure and governed access to data sources.
• Develop and maintain scalable processes for governance checks throughout the ontology lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, ontology design, data modeling, or data engineering.
• 3+ years of experience overseeing complex cross-functional data initiatives.
• Expertise in designing conceptual, logical, or semantic data models.
• Hands-on experience with production data pipelines and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of databases, schemas, metadata, and data quality.
• Based in the AMER region.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry, semantic layers, or knowledge graphs.
• Background in AI, cloud infrastructure, or high-growth technology companies.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and access controls.
• Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
