What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end Commercial Due Diligence engagements, covering market attractiveness, competitive positioning, and customer economics.
  • Frame and test investor hypotheses on market growth and commercial risk to inform high-profile transaction decisions.
  • Advise clients on growth strategy and risk mitigation within Financial Services, FinTech, and B2B Services.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations DD teams to provide integrated perspectives on value creation and risk.
  • Manage and mentor engagement teams, ensuring analytical rigor and delivery excellence.
  • Contribute to practice growth through business development and the advancement of AI-enabled analytics frameworks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of direct experience in Commercial Due Diligence, growth strategy, and M&A strategic advisory.
  • Strong track record leading buy-side and sell-side CDD engagements within M&A or private equity transactions.
  • Sector depth in Financial Services, FinTech, Insurance, Wealth/Asset Management, or FS-related B2B Tech/Services.
  • Strong analytical grounding in market sizing, growth diagnostics, and customer economics.
  • Proven ability to engage senior PE and portfolio-company executives.
  • Must be based in New York

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree/experience.
