What you will do
- Lead end-to-end Commercial Due Diligence engagements, covering market attractiveness, competitive positioning, and customer economics.
- Frame and test investor hypotheses on market growth and commercial risk to inform high-profile transaction decisions.
- Advise clients on growth strategy and risk mitigation within Financial Services, FinTech, and B2B Services.
- Partner with Technology and Operations DD teams to provide integrated perspectives on value creation and risk.
- Manage and mentor engagement teams, ensuring analytical rigor and delivery excellence.
- Contribute to practice growth through business development and the advancement of AI-enabled analytics frameworks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of direct experience in Commercial Due Diligence, growth strategy, and M&A strategic advisory.
- Strong track record leading buy-side and sell-side CDD engagements within M&A or private equity transactions.
- Sector depth in Financial Services, FinTech, Insurance, Wealth/Asset Management, or FS-related B2B Tech/Services.
- Strong analytical grounding in market sizing, growth diagnostics, and customer economics.
- Proven ability to engage senior PE and portfolio-company executives.
- Must be based in New York
