What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade analytical data transformations and metrics definitions within Google BigQuery.
• Establish automated data validation frameworks and schema checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Lead the migration of complex analytical transformation rules from legacy application repositories into modular environments.
• Partner with Data Engineers to create clean data modeling boundaries around shared catalog assets.
• Set analytics engineering standards and establish reusable data blueprints within the team.

Requirements

• Expertise in designing modular, performance-optimized analytical data models and scalable incremental transformations.
• Advanced SQL mastery and native experience with cloud big data platforms like Google BigQuery.
• Practical familiarity with modern workflow orchestrators such as Dagster.
• Extensive experience writing declarative data checks, regression validation assertions, and data quality tests.
• Proficiency with Git version control and automated deployment via GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience utilizing dbt (Data Build Tool) for managing version-controlled analytical modeling.
• Prior experience within an eCommerce, retail tech, or ad-tech ecosystem.
