What you will do
- Design and automate performance testing frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to proactively detect bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage observability tools using the Otel and Grafana stack for performance insights.
- Collaborate with Security Operations to define and implement best practices for Azure and other cloud providers.
- Develop a multi-tenant approach for DBs, Container platforms, Authentication, and Product Registries.
- Create automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and platform operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for application support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Expertise in Azure and best practices for managing SaaS product delivery.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, with a strong focus on Java-based services.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for infrastructure as code.
- Experience tuning Kafka and autoscaling components (Kubernetes/OpenShift HPA, Azure scale sets).
- Proven ability to execute performance test plans (load, stress, soak) for services sustaining 500+ TPS.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO27001.
Nice to have
- Experience applying chaos engineering practices to enhance system resiliency.
- Experience with Azure-native monitoring and diagnostics (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
