Senior/Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Automate infrastructure tasks using AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to eliminate manual toil.
• Develop Terraform modules and Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments via GitLab pipelines.
• Manage and optimize GCP BigQuery, Spanner, and CloudSQL databases.
• Configure Istio service mesh for network policies and routing rules.
• Build Grafana dashboards and Prometheus alerts to increase system visibility.
• Collaborate on architecture design and capacity planning to ensure scalability and security.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale cloud-native infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP).
• Demonstrated fluency directing AI coding agents to build and debug real infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio (or similar service mesh).
• Proficiency with SQL databases (MySQL, BigQuery, Spanner) and stream technologies (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience with Terraform, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of SOC2 and PCI Compliance processes.
