What you will do

• Build AKS clusters and dependent data, storage, and eventing services using Terraform modules and patterns.
• Implement cluster networking using Azure CNI Overlay with Cilium, private clusters, ingress, and controlled egress.
• Apply cluster hardening baselines including Pod Security Standards, admission control, and Key Vault secrets.
• Configure Istio service mesh for mutual TLS and basic traffic policy.
• Develop Helm charts and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable delivery.
• Set up observability with Prometheus and Azure Monitor, including image signing and scanning in the supply chain.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering with hands-on Terraform and container experience.
• Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes networking, specifically Azure CNI Overlay with Cilium and workload identity.
• Experience deploying redundant Azure data, storage, or eventing services privately.
• Practical knowledge of cluster hardening: Pod Security Standards and admission control.
• Familiarity with Istio service mesh, Helm, and GitOps.
• Experience with Prometheus stack, Azure Monitor, and CI/CD pipeline development.
